The populus promotions hub is a turn key digital solution for managing online promotions, including games of skill, games of chance, cash backs, and gift with purchase. It includes specialist process management and validation functionality to support complex GWP promotions.

populus includes the following features:
  • automatic data validation. Online claim forms can include automatic validation to improve data quality. Examples of validated data include bar codes, unique on pack codes, serial numbers, and date of purchase. Other tools include integration with the Australia Post postcode database to validate postcode, suburb and state (full address validation available on request); and enable customers to scan their receipts or other proof of purchase and include with their online claim.
  • multi-site capability. A populus promotions hub enables a client to host and manage multiple promotional websites (each with its own unique URL and design) through a single administration interface. This enables re-use of content across multiple promotions and enforcement of brand standards, as well as the creation of a centralised customer database.

Administrators can define custom process paths for a GWP promotion, with automated customer updates via the website and email to proactively manage customer expectations. Managing claims through a defined digital process and proactively communicating with customers reduces handling errors, identifies potentially fraudulent claims and reduces customer support time.   • reporting and customer intelligence. populus integrates metrics from a number of sources including Google Analytics, the promotional database, status email broadcasts, and support calls to provide a comprehensive view of the customer’s interaction with the promotion. This integrated view provides a powerful tool for managers to assess the effectiveness of each element of the promotion.
  • automated pdf generation. The customer’s answers are merged with a pre-formatted claim form and presented in pdf format at the end of the claim process so that the customer can print the form out and send it in with physical proof of purchase. This minimises errors through poor hand writing, and creates the digital record for claim management and reporting at the same time.
  • real time payment processing. Collect postage and handling fees as part of the online claim process. Claims are not accepted for processing until a successful payment is recorded by the system. The customer receives an automated receipt. Payments are processed through SecurePay payment gateway (or other gateway if specified by the client).
  • outbound communications. Communicate with customers on mass using the email and SMS broadcast functionality. Promote a new product or promotion to targeted segments of the participants in previous promotions. The email broadcast component includes full reporting on email broadcasts, and automatically manages unsubscribes and email bounces.
  • social media. Customer forums, personal web pages, send to a friend, groups and friends functions are all available to be added to a promotion if required.
